Love Serve Meditate Realize

Sunday, Apr 01, 2018 A Message from Marydale – April 2018

Happy Springtime and Happy Holy Days to you and yours. In the lineage of Kriya Yoga, we honor, respect, and include all religions as an intricate part of our Spiritual family. Of Christ, the great Yogi Mahatma Gandhi has written, “I am sure that if He were living here now among men, He would bless the lives of many who perhaps have never heard His name…just as is written: ‘Not every one that saith unto me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which art in heaven will enter.’ (Matthew 7:21) In the lesson of His life, Jesus gave humanity the magnificent purpose and the single objective toward which we all ought to aspire. I believe that He belongs not solely to Christianity, but to the entire world, to all lands and races.”

Throughout time, Avatars have visited the earth plane to uplift humans into remembering their true identity as Divine Souls in human form. Yet, as history has proven, few among us are able to remember and to live a life of wisdom and Grace orchestrated through endless love. Perhaps it is our sense of individuality, which cries for specialness, that keeps us from our very identity, or a hungry ego that wants recognition above others to prove we are in some way superior that keeps us from our greatest knowing. Alas, there has always been a deep yearning within us to know Truth. Oddly, in our modern times when the world has gone quite mad and out of control, many of us turn to holidays like Passover, Easter, and the like to reclaim some sort of sanity within the fray.

Be cautioned, however, that it is easy to miss the entire focus of religious holidays by ignoring the true meaning behind them, to be caught up in the clever, materialistic trappings of the days filled with festivities, food, and drink. The day Christ was born, there was no Santa Claus nor was the Easter Bunny lurking behind the rock as it rolled away from the tomb where Christ rose from the dead. I’m confident that there was no hiding and finding matzah on any night of Passover. Please, go back into the scriptures of your religious or Spiritual tradition and reacquaint yourself with the essence of what these ancient stories have survived to teach us. Go to the Source. Get down on your knees and ask for clarity, for understanding, for inspiration, for your Truth. Christ taught to: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” This invitation is as fresh and new today as the very day He uttered these simple, yet profound, words from his Holy mouth 2000+ years ago.

So reboot yourself, Dear One, by moving into the middle of the heart of that which created you, and know that you are being breathed endlessly by the Divine with Love. It is through this constant knowing that your ultimate peace will take wing.

May great Blessings be yours.

Thursday, Mar 01, 2018 A Message from Marydale – March 2018

Tuesday, March 20th, is the first day of spring and the vernal equinox (Latin meaning “equal night”). On the equinox, Earth’s two hemispheres are receiving the sun’s rays about equally. Equinoxes are the only two times per year that the sun rises due east and sets due west for all of us on Earth.

On the vernal equinox, day and night are each approximately 12 hours long. As the sun crosses the celestial equator going northward, it rises exactly due east and sets exactly due west.

The equinox happens at the same moment worldwide, even if our clock times reflect a different time zone. Birds are migrating northward and the increased light triggers birds to sing more. With the arrival of March comes the wonderful opportunity to sow seeds in your garden for the weeks and months ahead.

There is a very interesting correlation with the human form and its direct experiences that are energetically affected by the Universe and its intricate, scientific, and predictable ways. The science of yoga teaches us that each human body is a mini universe with its own magnetic field. As the light becomes more prevalent upon the earth with the vernal equinox, energy is pushed up the body from the bottom (south) toward the fontanel (north) at the top of one’s head and beyond. Our constant goal as yogis is to keep our focus on the upper energy centers located in the neck and head where the energy is naturally more conscious of our true nature (Atma, Spirit, Divinity), as opposed to one’s physical (body) nature. With this strong physical push from the magnetic pull of Earth and Universe comes a greater ability to sustain energy in the upper chakras, and our conscious awareness of this assistance enhances our yogic practice and our evolution.

Springtime has always ushered in the idea of new life bursting forth from the chill and dormancy of winter. Use this time wisely
as you tune yourself with the ever-present support of unseen forces moving you ever onward to excellent health, vitality, clarity, courage, and Grace. Redouble your daily practice and commit to a yogic lifestyle that assists you to be awake, aware, and anchored in constant calmness in the center of your heart with compassionate detachment to all things.

May great blessings be yours, now and always.

Love, Love, Love

Thursday, Feb 01, 2018 A Message from Marydale – February 2018

Yoga has something for every body and we are on a mission to offer you more opportunities to practice with us! Read on…

When we come to our mat regularly to practice, our bodies learn how to become more subtle, open, and balanced. Going beyond the body and incorporating all parts of yoga as a lifestyle eventually leads us to surrender into the flow of grace that moves us through our highest potential. All of us are constantly growing, stretching, and changing, for this is the natural progression of life. Nothing is static, nor does anything remain the same.

Here at Param Yoga, we are fortunate to be growing in ways that support our community to be better able to sustain individual daily practices, making each part of the whole stronger. We will now be open Monday through Saturday, offering four brand new classes to the mix, starting the evening classes a bit later to make it easier on commuters to attend, and bringing classes focused on stress and pain relief to improve quality of life for all interested students.

We are blessed to welcome two excellent, highly experienced yoga teacher/therapists to our staff: Sue Raglan (aka Anasuya) and Julie Segovia, who will be joining Stephanie Winnard and me with regularly scheduled classes.

At this time, it my sincere joy to introduce two of my longtime Reiki apprentices and Reiki Master Teachers in their own right, Sabrina Paine and Khanh Le, who will be teaching all Reiki Intros & Demos, Reiki Shares, and Reiki Level I & II Workshops for The Reiki Center of Los Angeles. Reiki Master Teachers Adan Rosales and Rosa Figueroa will continue to lead all of these same Reiki events here at Param Yoga in Spanish, which they have been executing beautifully for the past two years.

With the new schedule in place, our weekly Yoga Sutra and Kriya Meditation classes led by Yogacharya Richard Peterson from Kriya Los Angeles will now take place from 7:30 – 8:45 pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, respectively.

It remains my personal commitment to serve God and Gurus by offering yoga classes and lifestyle to the Chatsworth community, because I know that yoga works! After a debilitating back injury decades ago, I discovered the wonder of a regular yoga practice, which brought significant pain relief, recovery, strength, and ease of movement. Doctors remain mystified by the freedom in which my body moves considering the degree of scoliosis coupled with disc degeneration. I always tell them one word: “YOGA!”

One could almost say that it is just plain magic. However, the truth is that yoga is your very best health insurance policy. If you are willing to be disciplined and incorporate a regular yoga practice into your life, you too can find relief from all that ails you and avoid many other issues that come upon us through the aging process.

It is said that timing is everything in life. Whether you want to start a practice, enhance your practice, or add new techniques to your precious toolbox to support a happy, healthy life, we are here for you.

Love, Love, Love

Monday, Jan 01, 2018 A Message from Marydale – January 2018

Blessed and Divine Souls:

Mighty is the one who has learned through constant trials and tribulations the value of integrity with one’s Soul nature.

Being thrashed against the rocks of conflict seems to have been a theme of 2017, leaving many wondering how our world quickly evolved into a very different temperament than it had just twelve months ago. Obviously, much of what has become visible was always there, just not visible to the naked eye, either by choice or wishful thinking.

When asked to explain our current state of chaos here in the United States, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda responded in this way (and I paraphrase):

“You Americans write the words In God We Trust on all of your currency, yet do you really trust in God? If you did, would you question the current state of the world as being anything but as it should be? If you look at Mother Nature, she goes through periods of violent destruction in order to rebuild her strength. She doesn’t ask permission. So we are in a period of fertilization. Be happy and focus on your own practice. Turn off the Internet, the radio, and the television. Throw away the newspapers. All of this feeds your insecurity and takes away your peace. Trust in God.”

Wise words that changed me instantly. Like a dog handler pulling on a choke chain with one swift jerk, my guru’s words changed everything for me and I knew – this too shall pass. How many times do we have to be reminded that change is a constant? That everything is moving, nothing is ever “static.” We are energy, living in an energetic, constantly oscillating, space-time continuum that waits for no one.

With that said, take a moment to sit quietly and take inventory of how you behaved during these last twelve months of 2017. Did you indeed stay in your highest possible good? Were you transparent, loving, kind, disciplined, and determined to stay constantly in the flow while anchored in a calm heart with compassionate detachment to all things? Or were you tossed about like a cork on the rapidly moving Ganga during monsoon season?

Perhaps you, like most of us, visited both of these pendulum swings and, hopefully, because you are on the yogic path, you managed to anchor yourself most of the time in your sattvic (calm) nature.

Life is always, always what we make it. You are the great equalizer in every equation. With a clean canvas ahead being offered as a New Year, may you redouble your efforts to create the life you love and yearn for everywhere you go and in every breath you take. After all, life is simply a series of breaths, one after another, and in each breath you take, you have a choice – how am I going to behave, think, react, talk, take action (or no action)? How fortunate we are to have within us the power to create exactly as the energy that created us. We are that, have always been and will always be…a creator.

I am greatly blessed to have traveled through this time with you and have found in you the Grace and love I seek in every moment of this remarkable journey. I bow to you.

May 2018 bring you into our community of love to share, to grow, to stabilize, and to realize your highest good.

May great love be yours!

Some Special Moments from 2017

Friday, Dec 01, 2017 A Message from Marydale – December 2017

As the days turn into weeks, the weeks into years, and the years into decades, life continues to expand with or without our permission. We are constantly being challenged to stay in integrity with our truth, to be transparent, to live in love, to do the best we can each and every day in spite of circumstance, and to love ceaselessly – one and all. A very tall order for most, if not all, of us. Yet there is nothing within these criteria that is out of the ordinary for one who embraces life as a yogi.

A case in point has been the extraordinary year of 2017, with the countless unforeseen changes that it has brought. It seems we are all being stretched with ups and downs, confusion, chaos, growth, rude awakenings, honesty, dishonesty, assault, degradation, glimpses of our “new normal,” and the call to be tenacious in our commitment to create the life we love in spite of all the outside turmoil of a world gone mad.

Alas, this is the most opportune time for us to rise above the fray and determine, breath by breath, to stay awake and aware of the majesty and Grace that abounds constantly throughout this exquisite world of ours. To remind ourselves often that our perspective is our perspective and we have, within our birthright, the ability to choose happiness, joy, and love, in spite of circumstance and overwhelming odds indicating demise.

So, as 2017 winds down, be reminded that at its very root is the number one (2+0+1+7=10 and 1+0=1), which is the first number that births all others. Fundamentally, it symbolizes the Om – the first breath of the Universe, I AM, the very name of God.

Therefore, 2017 has been a new beginning that has brought with it tremendous change to support new life, a better, stronger, healthier, world, a separation of the wheat from the chaff. Don’t be fooled by the surface of all that has come to pass, but rather be determined to know that, like the earth burning out a forest to create new, healthier, stronger life, so we, too, shall be brought to a brighter world once the ash settles.

Please know that through it all we have shared months of expansion and growth upon our mats. We have come together to gain confidence, clarity, hope, and determination. Our ongoing persistence to our yoga practice has made each of us better equipped to rise above all the fray and, indeed, love our way into a brighter day.

I honor you and have been deeply blessed to share the path with you throughout this year. May your life continue to be blessed with the presence of the Divine in all you do and may you continue to move into your highest possible good day after day after day. Thank you for being you.

Happy, healthy, and loving holidays to you and yours!

Wednesday, Nov 01, 2017 A Message from Marydale – November 2017

Salutations, One and All!

Joseph Campbell wrote: “If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.”

Seven years ago, guided by my internal GPS (God’s Persistent Shakti) system to follow my bliss, I stepped across the threshold between dream and reality and Param Yoga Healing Arts Center was born. A tiny, bright, shining Light on the outskirts of Los Angeles meant to be a refuge from external chaos—a bridge to innate peace, the internal bliss that thrives within each one of us.

It is self-evident that my humble life was the catalyst the universe used to open a pathway, a safe harbor for folks to glimpse the sacredness of yoga. Through this ongoing phenomenon, the ancient avenue of wisdom has been strewn with breadcrumbs for all of us who are hungry for a direct path into the heart of Soul.

On our seventh anniversary, I bow to each and every one of you who have joined me in this eternal dance of Grace, as together we shared our lives with transparency. Param Yoga is a sacred space, a place of pause, reflection, surrender, transformation, wisdom, courage, clarity, encouragement, and community. Whether you have been coming to the studio persistently for years, or come as you can – YOU have, through your love, sustained the space that has become precious for so many, and I thank you from my heart.

Reflecting on this monumental anniversary and the power of the number seven, it’s fun to consider that seven is the number of completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual). It derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to God’s creation of all things. The quality that makes seven different from all other numbers (symbolically speaking) is that it pursues knowing as opposed to believing.

As we enter into this vibrational match with sacred number seven, let us embrace what we know to be our truth: that we are magnificent Spiritual Beings incarnated here as human beings to create as much love as we can while enjoying this brief ride!

Happy Anniversary, Param Yogis! Thank you for the privilege of serving you and living my bliss in the process. Blessed and grateful, I bow to you.

Love, Love, Love,

A Look Back at Seven Years of Memories

Sunday, Oct 01, 2017 A Message from Marydale – October 2017

From left: Judy Peterson, Swami Atmavidyananda Giri, Yogacharya Richard Peterson, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, Swamini Sampurnananda Giri, and Marydale in the studio at Param Yoga.

Greetings and Salutations!

“Dreams do come true.” That’s what a beaming new student said to me yesterday as she excitedly looked at the photo of Paramahamsa Prajnanananda by the front desk. She pointed at his picture, asked his name, and then explained that she met Him, by chance, last year while visiting Bogotá, Columbia. He was at the hotel where she was staying, and meeting Him touched her greatly, although she did not know who He was, nor did she know how to find out who He was or how to find Him again. Arriving at our studio and finding Him right here in Chatsworth was the answer to her dreams, for now she could finally know Him!

September 18, 2015 was the first day that I physically met Guruji Baba and had the rare privilege to talk to Him for quite some time. It was during this initial conversation that we talked about many things, including the desire of West Coast Kriyavans to have an ashram in Los Angeles someday. It was then that I shared my heart’s desire to have Him come here to visit and bless our community. He playfully waved His hand in the air and said, “We shall see.” That moment in time turned out to be the beginning of a Divine friendship, beyond my wildest imaginings, with the Divine Yoga Master. A dream come true…and the dream continues to unfold in ways that are otherworldly and fill this heart with continuous bliss.

September 8, 2017, two years after this initial conversation, Guruji Baba—smiling and filled with palpable joy—arrived at our humble studio and blessed our space with Divine, eternal love. He was so happy to be in our Spiritual home and said repeatedly that it was “beautiful, very beautiful.” He took the time to sit and briefly meditate with us, further impregnating our home with His Love. This prelude of grace began six days of continuous bliss to be in His presence, supporting, serving and loving Him in every breath.

Lorne Schussel, Judy Peterson, Swami Atmavidyananda Giri, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, Swamini Sampurnananda Giri, Marydale, and Kerry Morris.

The purpose of His visit was to celebrate with us the 125th birth year of Paramahamsa Yogananda, our Param Guru in the Kriya Yoga International lineage. It has been self-evident to me for a very long time that Prajnanananda carries the living shakti of Yogananda and they are One. Therefore, this particular celebration was a rare and auspicious one that will never come again, and we were all blessed beyond measure to play witness to all the precious and memorable moments that transpired.

While with us, Prajnanananda spoke on many occasions, transferring His endless well of wisdom directly to each one of us. Some time ago, He remarked that He could talk forever, and after being with Him time and time again, I have no doubt that not only is that a true statement, but that every word He utters is like honey for one’s soul. While with us, He encouraged us to get rid of our fault-finding nature, be aware of God’s presence in every moment by being aware of our breath, realize that our own personal willpower affects our destiny, and to remember that, in Kriya Yoga, breath is the mantra, mind is matter/mind is inertia, and expectations are natural, but never expect your expectations to be fulfilled. In my personal attempt to sum up the week’s transmission of Divine wisdom and love, He encouraged us to read a little, meditate more, and remember God all the time.

From the moment I learned last December that we would be hosting Guruji Baba’s visit here until the final moment of the tour de force, I have been filled with tremendous joy for the privilege of serving both Yoganandaji and Prajnananandaji in this humble way. And it was indeed a dream come true on layer upon layer of my soul, with the highlight of having my spiritual teacher here in the flesh to meet and bless so many of you who are near and dear to my heart. Now you have experienced firsthand the endless Love that this Divine Master has for you and the fulfillment of your highest hopes, dreams, and wishes. May you hold Him in your hearts and feel His ever-presence in our humble home.

Dreams do come true!

Blessed and grateful beyond measure,

Friday, Sep 01, 2017 A Message from Marydale – September 2017

On September 22nd we shall once again witness the phenomenon of the Fall Equinox. The Farmers Almanac writes: During the equinox, the Sun crosses what we call the ‘celestial equator’ (just imagine the line that marks the equator on Earth extending up into the sky) from north to south. At this point, the amount of nighttime and daytime are roughly equal to each other. Ahhh, a beautiful description of an annual occurrence that reminds us just how amazing this planet we find ourselves on is.

With fall quickly upon us, summer is having her last hurrah with sweltering heat by day that envelops our nights without remorse. Alas, as yogis we know that the weather is just another detail in a world designed to encourage us to resist the temptation to resist! Complaining about the weather is a breach in your concentration to allow life to move through us and not to get stuck anywhere at anytime for any reason. Life is flow, endless flow. Preferences abound in our psyche, true enough, yet losing one’s poise when preferences are not present pushes us against the flow and then energy shifts from natural movement ever onward to a dicey interlude in the whirlpool. Yeah, it’s hot. Before long…it will be cool. So relax and enjoy the ride and lean into your yoga practice to cool, pause, breathe, and draw into balance. What a gift!

As we step into September, it ushers in the single most important event that we have been involved with since Param Yoga opened almost seven years ago. We are celebrating the 125th birth year of our Param Guru, Paramahamsa Yogananda, with a Public Lecture at the Poverello of Assisi Retreat House in San Fernando on 9/11. Yogananda has been and continues to be a tremendous presence in my life, and to celebrate him is a privilege and a great joy. Without him there would be no studio, no community, no constant movement forward in the spirit of Love, Service, and Meditation. Even more profoundly, he has drawn the carrier of his own Shakti into my life, Paramahamsa Prajnanananada. To me they are One, have always been One, and shall always be One. And Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, in person, will be our keynote speaker on 9/11 to shower us with his Eternal Love.

This event is for YOU. It is the greatest gift that I could ever offer you: a moment in time to observe one who knows. You will immediately know that he knows, and within you something will resonate and you will be Love. Because that is what these Masters are offering us in order to live in love, to communicate in love, to breathe in love, to remember love…only Love.

Please join us and invite the ones you love so that they too may have a glimpse at eternity before their very eyes.

See you on the mat!

Love, Love, Love,

“Nothing may truly be said to be a ‘miracle’ except in the profound sense that everything is a miracle. That each of us is encased in an intricately organized body, and is set upon an earth whirling through space among the stars — is anything more commonplace? Or more miraculous?”

Tuesday, Aug 01, 2017 A Message from Marydale – August 2017

Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, current Spiritual leader of Kriya Yoga International

When I looked at the August calendar to find out what events are coming up for the month, I found some interesting and fun facts. First and foremost, it is “Admit You’re Happy Month”! How fitting for all of us yogis who make it our practice to be happy all the time.

Paramahansa Yogananda preached endlessly about how it is our yogic duty to be happy—no matter what—each and every day, because it is our birthright as Divine Beings living in a human form, being guided by the Realized to remember that this dream state is here for our ongoing expansion and realization.

What a great opportunity to redouble your efforts to rise each morning during this month proclaiming that you will be happy on this day, all day, no matter what!

Further, I found that August is divided into these awesome segments:

  • Week 1 – National Simplify your Life Week
  • Week 2 – National Smile Week
  • Week 3 – Friendship Week
  • Week 4 – Be Kind to Humankind Week

These profoundly yogic principles offered here in simple terms reflect goals that we all know support a balanced, happy, healthy lifestyle when done with persistence and consistence—not just a week here and there, but constantly without break. And, interestingly, by embracing these behaviors, they will affirm and support a happy life day in and day out.

It just goes to show us that if you stay awake and aware, you can find yogic thought everywhere. Blessed and grateful are we! Have a wonder-filled August and we’ll see you on the mat!

Love, Love, Love,

Saturday, Jul 01, 2017 A Message from Marydale – July 2017

The dog days of summer have arrived with a vengeance this year as temperatures have soared a bit higher than expected, agreed? You might be interested to know that the term “dog days of summer” refers to the “Dog Star,” Sirius, because it is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major. Sirius also happens to be the brightest star in the night sky, so as you “seriously” fan yourself during these sizzling summer days, take heart that we are brightly shining with Divine radiance as we spin through the heavens together! After all, we Chatsworthians are no strangers to summer’s relentless heat gracing us with its fervor! However, with that said, we must be wise and allow our daily yoga routine to cool us, soothe us, and move us through the warm days with calm resolve.

Cherise will be having her Summer Ayurveda Workshop on Saturday, July 15th, giving you lots of tips on how to cool down the pitta in your system and allowing you to glow from your internal beauty instead of sweat! Mark your calendar for a another awesomely calming Organic Resonance with Brian Walsh on Friday, July 28th, and perhaps take the plunge by becoming a Reiki I & II practitioner on the weekend of July 22nd and 23rd. Be sure to make your reservations for any or all of these dates either online or the next time you’re in the studio. Don’t delay, as space is limited!

For all of our Kriyavans, we will have a special full moon Gura Purnima celebration on Sunday, July 9th, starting with a Yoga Sutra video discourse presented by Paramahamsa Prajnanananda at 9:00 AM, followed by meditation, aarti, a Guru Purnima video, and a potluck lunch. Please join us to celebrate the great Master lineage of Kriya Yoga and our Divine Spiritual leader Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. Your attendance is encouraged. If you are coming, please email us to let us know what you’d like to contribute for lunch. The program will end promptly at 1:00 PM. Refer to the Kriya calendar in the July newsletter, as there have been some changes to the summer class schedule. Also, make a note and tell your friends that the next Kriya Initiation will be the weekend of September 15, 16 & 17. Plus, Kriyavans will have a chance to spend the day with Guruji on September 13th. Contact us for more information.

Finally, and most importantly, EVERYONE is invited to join us as we are hosting, in accordance with Kriya Los Angeles, a once-in-a-lifetime, auspicious event with Paramahamsa Prajnanananda – current Spiritual leader of Kriya Yoga International – to celebrate the 125th birth year of Paramahansa Yogananda. The event is on Monday, September 11th, at the Poverello of Assisi Auditorium at 7:00 PM. The program is FREE and features:

  • Philip Goldberg – Author and co-author of numerous books, including American Veda; public speaker and workshop leader; spiritual counselor, meditation teacher, and ordained Interfaith Minister. He lives in Los Angeles, cohosts the Spirit Matters podcast, leads American Veda Tours, and blogs regularly on Huffington Post and Spirituality & Health.
  • Craig Marshall – A monk with Self-Realization Fellowship for 35 years who has spent over 100,000 hours in meditation and lived in various monasteries, in addition to traveling the world as a teacher and lecturer. Craig now works with conscious professionals to help them define and manifest their personal and professional visions, in alignment with their unique life-purpose. Craig works one-on-one with clients and also is a public speaker.
  • Special Guest: Paramahamsa Prajnanananda – Aglow with radiant wisdom, ever joyful, and reveling in the selfless sacrifice of a silent and secluded monk’s life, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda has ceaselessly traveled around the world to promote the message of Kriya Yoga to all who seek liberation. He has written and translated numerous books on spiritual topics, skillfully interpreting ageless philosophies in the light of modern science and technology. Using a simple, succinct, candid style, he demonstrates a broad scriptural knowledge, profound wisdom, and a delightful way with words. Able to focus on multiple tasks at one time with perfect precision and mastery, Prajnananandaji projects a buoyant, energetic God-intoxication. This world-revered master of Kriya Yoga is the epitome of boundless love, wisdom, and action.

This is a rare and precious opportunity to be in the presence of a living Master and learn from his wisdom, experience, and example of unconditional love. Mark your calendars and don’t miss it!

May great blessings continue to be yours. See you on the mat!
