Daily Practice 
– This class meets you where you are on your Yoga journey. Emphasis is placed on getting in touch with how energy can open and balance your body, alleviating discomfort and weakness. You will leave class feeling stronger, more flexible, centered and energized. This class has a moderate pace and offers modifications. Come and experience the ever-new spontaneity of Hatha Yoga.

Easy Does It – A gentle Yoga class for all levels. Use this practice to get in touch with your body/mind connection and ease into balance, strength, and flexibility.

Easy Does It Chair – This gentle Yoga class for all levels is offered through Heritage Provider Network, Lakeside Community Healthcare, and Regal Medical Group for members and their guests. The chair provides both support and resistance to deepen your practice in an easy way. All Param Yoga students are welcome to attend.

Golden Age Yoga – These classes are offered through Heritage Provider Network, Lakeside Community Healthcare, and Regal Medical Group for members and their guests. All Param Yoga students are welcome to attend. Incorporating Yoga into a regular routine allows us to age with grace, so join us to explore how you can become comfortable in your skin at any age through detailed instruction, support, and encouragement. Breathe your way into your best life and make every stage a golden age.

Kriya Meditation Sangha – Meditation is the doorway to a stress-free, happy life. Those who have received Kriya through the Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda lineage are invited to join us on Thursday evenings for our sangha (spiritual fellowship and community) as together we explore the many levels of meditation and its incredible benefits for your body, mind, and spirit. Non-Kriyavans who are interested in learning more about this powerful meditation technique are invited to sit in on a single Kriya Meditation class and are encouraged to participate in one of our seasonal Kriya Initiation events. Prime of Life Yoga®-inspired – Marydale puts her own unique spin on Prime of Life Yoga®, bringing her intuitive sense and 40+ years of Yoga experience to the program, which offers asana that is accommodating, covering everyday biomechanics, management of stress, relief of common aches and pains, and weight reduction. POLY®-inspired is designed for students 40 years of age and older, but is suitable for all ages and levels. On Wednesday mornings, Marydale incorporates a simple chair as a complex Yoga prop, providing both support and resistance to deepen your practice in an easy way. Everyone is welcome.

Slow Burn Yoga – As the name suggests, this class begins slowly, then builds to a vigorous Vinyasa practice before cooling down for a relaxing and well-deserved savasana. Ahhh…

Yoga for Stress Relief – Stress has become an epidemic concern in our fast-paced world. While some stress is good, too much causes discomfort, anxiety, depression, pain, disease, and debilitation. Learn how to combat your stress through the wisdom of Yoga, as you acquire the tools to breathe, balance, relax, and renew during class and throughout your life.

Yoga Sutra Study Series – Everyone—with or without Kriya—is encouraged to join us for the study of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali. This is an ongoing series featuring the video discourses of Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, the current spiritual leader of Kriya Yoga International, offering his firsthand understanding of this ancient text, followed by a brief meditation led by Yogacharya Richard Peterson. The class is by donation only (recommended donation is $9). *Update (November/December 2019): Yoga Sutra Study Series will not take place at this time. Please check back here in 2020.

Paramahamsa Yogananda Birthday Celebration

On Sunday, January 5, 2020, Kriya Los Angeles will participate in a worldwide, simultaneous meditation to celebrate the birthday of Paramahamsa Yogananda and kick off a year of events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his arrival in the West.

Reiki novices and practitioners alike are encouraged to join us for this powerful group experience, as each participant has the opportunity to give and receive Reiki. All participants will receive a temporary Reiki attunement. This will give practitioners a welcome boost of Reiki energetics and will allow those who have not gone through Reiki initiation to experience the power of Reiki for approximately 48 hours. Use it on yourself and others, both at Reiki Share and throughout the weekend. Reiki should be shared, and the best part is that every time you give Reiki, you get it too!

Reiki I & II Workshop

Investment: $410*

Reiki I and II are taught together in a two-day intensive with a focus on using the energetics of Reiki to enhance the natural well-being that is your true essence. Reiki I is the first level of Reiki training. In it, you will learn how to start self-treatment immediately, as well as be able to give Reiki to others. This primer is all you need for a great start with Reiki. In Reiki II, you’ll learn a variety of healing techniques, including distance healing. This workshop will give you everything you need to practice Reiki on yourself and others for the rest of your life.

*To secure your space, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required at least one week before the workshop. The balance must be paid by the day before the workshop begins. Reiki I & II can be taken individually for $205 each.
