Love Serve Meditate Realize

Wednesday, Jan 23, 2013 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 1/23/13

I have seen people writhing with so much mental and emotional pain that it becomes impossible to cope with their lives. The only thing available for me to do to assist them, in this time of tremendous suffering, is to see their perfection. To hold an image in my mind and in my heart so crystal clear of their Divine blueprint that all else shimmers away as merely their experience here in human form meant to smooth their rough edges like a river rock tumbling in the bed of a swiftly moving stream.

I had a brief glimpse of eternity today and it took my breath away. If only we could hold the enormity of God’s Presence in the forefront of our minds, always, we would loosen our grip on this life and live in confidence that Grace is ever-present, enfolding us in a luminescent web of eternal Love.

Interesting how a mountain path forms over time by one person after another trusting those who have gone before them. One must take great care when choosing their way so that precious time is not squandered in getting off course, lost or ending up nowhere! Stay true to yourself and hold to the path that makes your heart sing – all the way home.

Find time and space on this day to be still, to go inward, to listen to the rhythm of your breath feeding you with life force. Relax, release and let go of all struggle. Be one with your natural state of unending, enduring peace.

Saturday, Jan 19, 2013 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 1/19/13

Those who have come before us have left breadcrumbs behind for us to follow to assist us as we find our way through the often dense forest of life. Why then is it so difficult for us to trust in their wisdom and avoid suffering by following their leads? One possible answer is that we have an internal curiosity that pushes us to discover through our own experience – our own way. Not someone else’s way, even though their way boasts ease and success. Perhaps learning to combine both paths ultimately leads all of us home. Breadcrumbs, anyone?

Patience, patience, patience….all in good timing. Life always unfolds in God’s perfect timing in all ways. As small-minded, self-absorbed beings, we believe that if we use force or intelligence or manipulation, we should be able to control the unfolding of life as we see fit. The sooner we understand and embrace our inability to control things, the sooner we will begin to live in conscious Grace, knowing that everything is perfect and as it should be. Learning to be patient is key to a happy, healthy, stress-free life.

Small wonders infiltrate our lives constantly like an oak tree hibernating inside of an acorn. Stay awake. Be present and do your very best not to miss a single high note. For all of this splendor has been created on your behalf.

Freedom is a mindset just like any other. There are times in our lives when circumstance can contribute to the illusion of imprisonment, when in actuality the prison we are in is our own head. Don’t be tricked into becoming a permanent slave to your mind. You are free by design. Unlock the chains that bind you and remember your True Self.

Do I want this one or this one? Should I buy that one or the other one? Now that I have chosen this, I think I would have been better off if I had chosen that. Sound familiar? The endless stream of uncertainty we feel when faced with making choices, big or small, can create tremendous stress. Having crystal clear clarity of what you ultimately want to create dictates what your choices need to be to support your path. Simply put, the choices you make create your reality, good or bad, happy or sad. It’s always up to you. You are a walking testament to the choices you have made.

There are moments when the Grace of God is so enormous that It disappears the world, leaving me breathless in its midst. Perhaps if I don’t move or think or blink I can stay in this sea of unending bliss forever.
