Love Serve Meditate Realize

Saturday, Jan 05, 2013 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 1/05/13

There are those who walk among us that act in the personification of angelic beings day in and day out. You know who they are. They’re the ones who believe in the good, no matter what, who give the benefit of the doubt, no matter what, who continue to trust even when they have been burned, who give until the only thing left to give is their unending support. They do these things selflessly with no expectation of payback. They are the ones who do no harm to any living thing, ever. They are the ones who choose to nurture, to afford patience, who listen, who are gentle and calm. They are the ones that know being wealthy is about loving and being loved. They are the ones who do not care what others think of the ‘foolish’ acts of unending kindness to those whom they may judge unworthy. Yes, there are angels alive and well walking among us, caring about us, for us, and loving us. Pay attention when you look in the mirror…you may have wings. I love you.

Thursday, Jan 03, 2013 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 1/03/13

Day 3 of 2013 and we are on our way into what promises to be an exciting, fulfilling year. Why? Because we, as a community, are focused on minding our thoughts with such precision that not a single negative impulse can possibly be entertained or sustained for an instant! We are, together, creating all good and beautiful things…minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. Are you in for the adventure of creating a life Divine?

Wednesday, Jan 02, 2013 Marydale’s Message for 2013

I encourage you to join in community as we at Param Yoga pledge to focus on the following throughout 2013:

“We have assured the indwelling Self that it can be anything it accepts and has faith in, and we are now about to develop in it the habit of choosing only those thoughts and ideas that will constructively add good unto it. We are teaching ourselves to accept only good . . . We are deliberately compelling ourselves to accept all love, all kindness, all hope, all joy, all expansion, all abundance, all health, all vigor. We are deliberately compelling ourselves to reject all suffering, all sorrow, all depression, all morbidness, all inferiority, all aches and pains. We are saying nothing is true but the great and the good and the beautiful, only these will we add unto ourselves.” — Uell S. Andersen, Three Magic Words

This year holds great promise for all of us and, as you well know, if you support your growth through your yoga practice, the benefits that will flow into you and through you are unending. I look forward to sharing the path with you with great joy and fulfillment. Peace, peace, peace.

In service,

Marydale

Monday, Dec 31, 2012 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 12/31/12

Well, here we are on the final page of 2012. Each of us has had our own very personal and unique experience that has added to our character, our understanding and our clarity of who we are. As we step into the next chapter of our lives, let us determine to focus on the very best in all things. To reinforce our understanding that our thoughts create our reality and, therefore, we will think our way into the healthiest, happiest, most fulfilling year of our lives, one day at a time…one breath at a time. We can do it! I believe in you and in me! Let’s make it so, together…after all, we are One.

Sunday, Dec 30, 2012 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 12/30/12

Consider this…if your practice was only to live “Namaste”, your heart would be in a perpetual state of peace or bliss. Why? Because Namaste is the recognition of the God (Light) within everyone who crosses your path. It is saluting our shared Divinity. The Creative force that is alive and well within all living things. If all of us lived this knowing all the time, everything on the planet would change instantly. How could it not? The One in All would be forever validated over and over. Heaven on earth.

Saturday, Dec 29, 2012 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 12/29/12

When you listen as hard as you possibly can, naturally and unconsciously you will hold your breath to take its noise out of the equation.

Try it now.

Periodically during the day, turn your entire focus and concentration inward and listen intently for the still, small voice residing in the very center of you. Recognize its sacredness. Know that you are One with It and It with you. Listen carefully and trust that you will be given exactly the right urging in the right timing to lead you to your highest good.

Be very quiet now and listen with all of your heart. You will know that you know. This is meditation.

Friday, Dec 28, 2012 Marydale’s Thought for the Day – 12/28/12

Peering up through the dense leaves of the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus tree, the tiny intensely bright light of the full Moon was beaming down through the branches like a laser beam into my eyes. Wonder of wonders, the final full moon of 2012 shining as large and as brilliantly as possible in one final flourish against the pitch dark sky, as though to bid this year a fond farewell. Bathing in the Light, I felt a sense of delight knowing the perpetual cycle of life is in perfect order and shall continue as it was designed to do as we are gifted by its mystery, majesty and Grace. All is well.
